Major Nidal Hasan, who evidently perpetrated the shooting at Fort Hood, was not killed in the attack, nor was the female MP or security officer who stopped him. Initial reports that two others were involved in the incident seem to be incorrect at this time.

According to news sources, Hasan is a Muslim who disagreed with U.S. foreign policy and was resisting deployment to the Middle East. The politically correct spin is that Hasan had been harassed about being a Muslim and was at the end of his rope with regard to legal methods of avoiding deployment. The report that Hasan yelled “God is good!” before he began murdering his fellow soldiers would tend to indicate that the killings were a Jihadist act of terrorism. “Alu Akbar” is the venerable battle cry of a Muslim warrior.

The shocking killings by a U.S. Army field grade officer raise disturbing issues about the role of Muslims in the military. All service members take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies. Christianity urges that its followers “render unto Caesar.” Islam teaches that devotion to Allah supercedes all national loyalties.

The U.S. is committed to religious freedom. How do you reconcile that value with a religious doctrine that prescribes the death penalty for leaving the faith? Islam may, depending on interpretation, legitimize the killing of “infidels” during Jihad as a way to obtain blissful eternal life.

Unfortunate fallout from this incident will probably include more calls for gun control and more discrimination and harassment against Muslims. There are no easy answers on this massacre. There are not even any easy questions. For our part, we must not let Left-wing politicians parlay a shooting in a government-mandated “criminal-safe free fire zone” (gun-free zone) into more restrictions on our fundamental natural right to armed self-defense from crime, tyranny and genocide recognized by the Second Amendment.

Early news reports on the shooting at Fort Hood indicate that the alleged perpetrator was a U.S. Army major armed with two handguns. In what seems to be some sort of “reverse fragging” incident, the major apparently “executed” 11 or 12 soldiers and wounded over 30 others, before being killed himself by a civilian security guard or police official. The law enforcement officer evidently gave his own life in the firefight.

As least two other individuals have been detained in conjunction with this event. Their roles appear to be uncertain at this time.

News sources seem reluctant to call the shootings a terrorist attack, but the officer involved seems to have a name associated with Middle Eastern origins. As a major in the U.S. Army, the shooter would have to have undergone some sort of background checks to obtain security clearances.

The shootings undoubtedly occurred in a nominal “gun free zone” on the sprawling Fort Hood Military Installation. It is beyond imagination that one man with two handguns could have killed about a dozen armed soldiers.

The families and comrades of the fallen deserve our somber thoughts and heartfelt prayers. My initial reaction leans toward a terrorist explanation. Only time will tell, if this plays out.

Under any sort of gun control scheme imaginable, the army major would have had access to firearms. We will see if the Left tries to use this tragedy as a springboard for more gun control.

To me, the most troubling aspect of the home-grown Colorado video, Recognizing the 8 signs of Terrorism, narrated by John Elway and Kim Christiansen, is what the video doesn’t say. It’s useful to alert citizens to suspicious behaviors regard high-value terrorist targets. People photographing or taking detailed notes regarding dams or power stations could raise legitimate questions about their motives.

People asking detailed questions about security measures at government buildings or deliberately going into restricted areas would cause me concern. Timing the arrival of emergency responders would set off numerous alarms in the intelligence officer part of my brain case. Rehearsing a terrorist attack is a definite “no-no.”

A large donation to a “charity that you have never heard of” is more troubling, when regarded as an indicator of terrorism. Using guns in a garage as a symptom of terrorist intentions strikes me as downright scary in an Orwellian, Stalinist, Nazi kind of way. (I would be suspicious of C-4 explosive charges, grenades, rocket propelled grenade launchers, Molotov cocktails etc.)

We need to keep in mind and this video should have mentioned that American Citizens have a right to own binoculars, cameras, and watches. American Citizens, unlike disarmed British and Japanese subjects, have a constitutional right to the possession of and use of firearms.

This video was funded by the Obama Administration’s Department of Homeland Security and unveiled at a convention of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, which tells you a lot about what I perceive to be bias in the piece. Homeland Security put out the infamous document warning about Second Amendment supporters, veterans, and abortion opponents as potential terrorists. The International Association of Chiefs of Police is featured on the anti-gun Joyce Foundation Website in conjunction with their efforts to implement draconian gun control measures in the United States.

BTW, Barack Hussein Obama sat on the board of the Joyce Foundation for years. He also appointed Janet Napolitano to the Homeland Security post. Draw your own conclusions about his stand on guns.

You will note in the video that citizens are asked to report “any suspicious activity” and “gut feelings” that something may be amiss. ”Suspicious looking vehicles” should be reported. “Suspicious persons” should be phoned in to the Colorado Information Analysis Center. God help you, if you happen to be a white male wearing a boonie hat driving a pickup truck with a gun rack in the back window and an NRA sticker on the bumper.

BTW, unless I missed something, most of the “terrorists” in the video were white men with short haircuts. There were a few anglo women and one black man portrayed as dangerous enemies of America. Other people of color would never be involved in terrorist activities, so don’t narc on them. It could be that government agencies that helped with the video just don’t have any other people of color on staff to play terrorists. Hmmm! Maybe we should investigate those agencies for affirmative action problems.

Thanks to Peter Boyles of KHOW Radio for bringing this story to my attention. (I have received no quid pro quo for this mention of the radio host or his station.) If you write a blog, you want to get used to saying things like this, because “Big Brother loves you” and is getting into the business of regulating speech on the Internet.

Stay alert! Stay alive! Be suspicious of your neighbors! (They might turn you in.) (Is this kind of video a good way to build American Unity in a post-partisan, post racially conscious nation, or what?)

S. 2099 is harder to kill than a vampire with a metal breastplate and a tanker truck full of spf 10,000 sunblock. The NRA and GOA have put out information that this thing is a relic of the 2000 Federal Legislative Session, yet it still lives on the Internet! (See my post dated 06-07-09, “All together now! A 2009 version of S. 2099 is a hoax!” This post is tagged “S. 2099.”)

It is possible that S. 2099 is a deliberate distraction from the many real threats to our fundamental, individual rights to self-defense against crime, tyranny, and genocide. These real threats include, but are not limited to:

H.R. 45-Registers owners of handguns and semi-automatic firearms. The bill appears to effectively ban access to or possession of any firearm by anyone under 18. (See my post, “House Bill 45, the anti-gun rights campaign begins in ernest,” under the tag, “anti-gun Democrats,” 01-19-09.)

H.R. 2401-Transfers information from the notoriously innacurate no-fly lists to the National Instant Check System. The late U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy was on a no-fly list. (See my post, “H.R. 2401: ‘No Fly, No Buy!’ ’Big Brother loves you,’ but isn’t good with names,” tagged “H.R 2401,” 08-14-09.)

H.R. 2159-Allows the Attorney General to strip you of your right to own a gun if you are “suspected” of being a terrorist. This bill dovetails with H.R. 2401 above. The AG thinks you are a terrorist, because you are a veteran, because you are against abortion, or because you oppose gun control. Your name goes on the “no-fly” list as a suspected terrorist and immediately gets flagged on the NICS computer. What was it that O’Henry said, “…beautiful and simple, as all truly great swindles are.”

S. 843-Would almost certainly kill every gun show in the country by over-regulation. As I read S. 843, in order to comply with the provisions of this act, a promoter would need to register every single person in the show. (I’m not an attorney. I don’t even play one on TV.) (See my post of 04-27-09, “S. 843 threatens your rights,” tagged “S. 843 (2009.”)

The so-called “CIFTA” Agreement, a “Convention” of the Organization of American States, endangers gun rights in this country on an on-going basis. (See my post of 04-17-09, “OAS treaty threatens Second Amendment,” tagged “Foreign Influence.”)

Who could have perpetrated a hoax such as a 2009 version of S. 2099? Oh, I don’t know, maybe the same folks who faked those fraudulent negative officer efficiency reports about President Bush.

Advocates for individual rights in this country have already beaten back governmental threats to freedom this year. Two of these threats were the attempted destruction of military surplus ammunition shell casings and an attempt by the Customs Service to declare knives that can be opened with one hand to be “switchblades.” (”Reports of military brass destruction could be bad news for reloaders and shooters,” 03-14-09, tagged “Another attack on gun owners?”) (’”Write Customs to stop proposed knife ruling,” 06-16-09, tagged “Knife Issues.”)

The real threats are real enough. We can’t waste time and energy chasing after long-dead phantoms like 2099. If you get an E-mail with this charade in it, reply to the sender that it is bogus. Request that the sender forward your E-mail to everyone that got the fake message. We can’t afford distractions from the vital business of defending our birthright of freedom.

The title rhymes. The bill is short. It’s the “No Fly, No Buy Act of 2009.” The bill is simple. It’s allegedly supposed to fight terrorism. If H.R. 2401 passes, if your name is on a “No Fly” List for any reason, your name will also be flagged in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System. This means, you can’t legally buy a firearm and, as I understand the regulations, can not legally possess any firearm, until your name is cleared.

The problem with the bill is that the “No Fly” Lists are notoriously inaccurate to the point that the bold print comment on Page 8B of The Denver Post on 05-31-09 reads, “Security: Mistaken IDs of fliers on watch lists happen ‘daily.” According to the Post article starting on Page 1B, “Name’s not same? That just won’t fly,” there are about 400,000 people on the watch lists. 95% of these folks are not U.S. citizens, according to the story. Let’s see. That means there are about 20,000 chances that your name could match the name of a citizen on a watch list.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has a little different view on the watch lists. The ACLU staff believes that there are over a million names on the lists and that the lists are growing by leaps and bounds. You do the math!

Of course, your name could be Edward Kennedy, whose name actually did show up on a watch list. I imagine that the Senator had an easier time getting off the list than would you or I. You see the government doesn’t have to tell you how you got on the list and there is an unholy amount of bureaucratic red tape involved in trying to get off the list, if you are a “common” citizen. Did I mention that until you get off the list, you probably are not legally eligible to own a gun?

But was Kennedy flagged because his name matched the name of a suspected terrorist who happened to be a citizen, or is there an Irishman named Kennedy who is associated with a faction of the Irish Republican Army. Think about all the old and new terrorist organizations in various countries around the world. MS 13, FALN (Puerto Rico), the Mexican Mafia, PLF, HAMAS, the Animal Liberation Front (US) the Earth Liberation Front (US), Al Qaeda, the Japanese Red Army, the Aryan Nations (US), Hezbollah, the Shining Path, and the Basque Fatherland and Liberty organization, to name a few. What are the odds that your name matches somebody, somewhere on a watch list?

As far as we know, the Obama Administration hasn’t started putting Tea Party members on the lists, but who knows? If you are against Obamacare, your neighbors may have snitched you out to the White House Web Site on “misinformation” or “disinformation” on the socialized medicine issue.

Returning veterans, opponents of abortion, and certainly advocates for the right to armed self-defense against crime, tyranny, and genocide are probably candidates for a spot on the “No Fly” Lists. (Remember the Homeland Security Report?) George Orwell got it right in 1984. “Big Brother” really is watching.

Keep an eye on this bill. It fits in “nicely” with H.R. 2159, which allows you to be stripped of your legal right to own a gun if the Attorney General “suspects” you of being a terrorist. See my post, ” As we were saying…,” dated 05-21-09, tagged ” H.R. 2159.”

“Eternal vigilance…”

Thanks to all the vets who served and lived to make this country a better place. I’m more sad and thoughtful than usual this year, because I’m afraid history is about to repeat itself. Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it.” Either Einstein or Rita Mae Brown said, “The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results.”

The incoming Obama Administration seems poised to pull out of Iraq on an arbitrary timetable without regard for the situation on the ground. At least that’s what I think Barack Obama said. He may have changed his mind five or six times since I thought I heard him say that. Didn’t he run on an anti-war platform? That seemed like his only position, “accomplishment,” and about his only qualification. Oh well. Far be it from me to question “The Chosen One.” As he is fond of saying, “Understand!”

The last time the U.S. Leftists snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, about 2.5 million Asians died and the U.S. Military suffered a decades-long crisis of confidence. If we abandon the Iraqi People, who will ever again trust the word of America?

What do we say to the families of those who gave their lives to protect our freedom, indeed, our very existence, from those who would impose their fanatical religion on the world, regardless of the cost? What will we say to the families of future military personnel? Will we even be able to recruit soldiers after another Vietnam-like sell-out in Iraq?

Compare the current situation in America to the last days of ancient Rome. If the parallels don’t make you lose sleep, it’s time for another pulse check.

(See my Post “Will Iraq become another Vietnam?” under the Category “War on Terror.”

On 11-08-08, Fox News reported that the Washington Post Ombudsman admitted that the election coverage of that newspaper favored Obama. No kidding! Golly gee! I hadn’t noticed. Who would have thunk it? How could I have missed something as obvious as that? Guess I must have been bitter and clinging to guns and religion.

It also came out in the Fox News report that Newsweek Magazine reporters with the Obama Campaign were embargoed from telling anything about the Campaign’s operations until after the election. You see, they made a deal. We won’t mention the tingling feeling in the leg that some female TV personalities seem to get in the presence of “The Chosen One.”

It’s typical of the Left-wing media to slant their coverage. It’s also typical of the Left to shaft you, then tell you how stupid you were to fall for their lies and omissions after it is too late to do anything about them.

The press covered up FDR’s paralysis. The Left-wing press covered up Joe Stalin’s political murders. The Left-wing press covered up John Kennedy’s bad back and his philandering. The Left-wing press covered up Saddam Hussein’s murderous tyranny. They made a deal!

The Left-wing press sat on Clinton’s affair with Lewinski. Now the Left-wing press has covered up for Barack Hussein Obama, “The Chosen One,” the Leader “We have been waiting for,” or shall we just call him Il Duce or Der Fuhrer? Don’t forget who “made the deal” with the press!

Those of us concerned with the fundamental individual right to armed self-defense against crime and tyranny have been all too aware of the Marxist Mainstream Media bias for several decades. We have seen the same anti-American, Left-wing slant in coverage of the Vietnam War and the War against Islamofascist Terror. Some other people are just finding out.

Before ChucK Schumer and his “inclusive, tolerant of diversity” comrades drive a stake through the heart of Conservative talk radio with “The Fairness Doctrine,” Here’s the Defense Mechanism version of a real Fairness Doctrine.

For every story that you read in the Mainstream Media on guns, you have to visit the NRA Website to get the other side of the story. For every hour that you watch MSM news programs, you must watch one hour of Fox News or listen to an hour of Conservative talk radio. (While you still can.) Every time you read a book by a liberal author, you have to read a book from the last two decades by David Horowitz, or a book by Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, David Kopel, Ann Coulter, Bernie Goldberg, Dick Morris, Bill O’Reilly, or other Conservative writer. This is a “Fairness Doctrine” that just might save the country.

Isn’t it interesting? After a Democrat wins a Presidential Election, everyone is supposed to have a group hug and unite behind “The Chosen One.” Most Conservative pundits have sent their congratulations to “The Chosen One.” Most Republicans put “Country First.” How about our “friends” across the aisle?

If a Republican had been elected, you can bet your Obama T-shirt that there would have been charges of “voter suppression” and lawsuits and investigations lasting until the next election. The campaign to impeach McCain would have already started. Let’s look for a moment at the issues surrounding “coming together” with the Democrats.

They have a plank in their party platform that calls for a draconian ban on semi-automatic firearms in direct contravention of the Second Amendment and the Heller Supreme Court Decision. There are about 15 Democrat anti-gun rights bills in Congress. Will Obama attack your individual right to armed self-defense against crime and tyranny as payback for his endorsement by the Brady Campaign?

The Obama Campaign-supported group ACORN registered the same voter over forty times. They registered at least one seven year-old girl. ACORN blamed the people with the clip boards. Good help is so hard to find!

The Democrats slandered Senator John McCain as being too old and out of touch to be President. They slandered Governor Sarah Palin as being a simple idiot and unqualified to be Vice President, even though she has more executive experience than “The Chosen One.” The assault on Palin continues, even though the election is over.

The Democrats used the Mainstream Media to protect Obama’s highly suspect Socialist background and associations. (Davis, Ayers, Alinsky, etc.) The Dems used that same media to viciously attack anyone, such as Joe the Plumber, who dared to question the anointed “Saviour of the Middle Class.”

The Democrats continue to talk about the restoration of “The Fairness Doctrine” to talk radio, killing one of the few media venues outside their control. The elimination of talk radio would leave only the Internet and Fox News to counter the Pravda-like hegemony of the Left-wing Mainstream Media Press and TV.

The Left blocked reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that might have lessened the impact of the housing market debacle. They supported ACORN and other “community organizations” in their efforts to force lenders to make loans to people who couldn’t and/or didn’t pay them back. Then the “Party of Diversity and Inclusion” blamed the Republicans for the economic problems that the Democrats used as a springboard to vault “The Chosen One” into the highest office in the land.

(I doubt that Obama could work in the White House in any capacity other than President. Like Bill Clinton before him, Barack Obama probably could not have passed a background check to get even a Secret Security Clearance.)

The Democrats, who now want unity, called President Bush a liar and an idiot. The Left ran on a platform of abandoning the Iraqi People to the “mercy” of radical Islam. ”Prominent” Democrats slandered the soldiers who deposed Saddam Hussein and who are working to rebuild and stabilize Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Obama Campaign refused to provide documentation on their vaunted list of small donors who supposedly contributed less than $200 per person. What about the contributions from Gaza and Kenya, or the money they took in from donors who obviously made multiple donations in excess of legal limits?

I’ve got an idea! Before we unite, let’s see if the Democrats attack the Second Amendment, like they promised they would. Let’s see if the Democrats try to degrade the First Amendment in the same way that they have traditionally denigrated the Second. Let’s have an honest investigation of Fannie and Freddie. Let’s investigate ACORN for voter registration fraud and find out how many of those extra registrations actually resulted in fraudulent ballots. Let’s have an honest investigation of the Obama Campaign for donation fraud.

If the Democrats come out clean, then we can unite. Do I think there is a chance of fair investigations and Democrat support of the First and Second Amendments? I’m skeptical. I suspect we will just Move On.

(See my posts under the categories “Elections” or “Culture War” for links related to the above assertions.)

In my last post, I outlined the Democrat anti-gun laws that will burst like a flood of radioactive waste on the American landscape, if Barack “The Chosen One” Obama is elected President. We are approaching the last few hours when you can make a difference in this election. The absolute least you can do is vote, but that will not be enough.

Obama has an army of out-of-school college students, off-the-job union workers, “independently wealthy” welfare families, and Democrats who actually have jobs who will take time off to walk precincts, wave signs, drive Liberals to the polls, make phone calls, put up yard signs and do all the rest of the activities known as the “Ground Game” in politics. The GOP has people who work for a living and some retired people who care enough about this country to become politically involved. And, we have you.

Please call your nearest Republican Party Headquarters and ask them what you can do to defend America from the impending Socialist onslaught. If you want to legally own a firearm for plinking, target shooting, hunting, or self-defense: help the GOP.

If you don’t care about firearms and individual freedom, think about the following. If you don’t want the government regulating your home thermostat: help the GOP. If you don’t want $5.00 per gallon gasoline; if you don’t want Young Pioneers or Red Guards going through your trash to be sure you have properly recycled: help the GOP.

Often overlooked in this debate is Obama’s plan to cut and run in Iraq. Will the 2.5 million Asians killed as the result of Democrat bungling in Vietnam be surpassed by a bloodbath in Iraq and Afghanistan? What will happen in the U.S., when the terrorists are freed from their Jihadist obligations in the Middle East? If you want to help save lives, help the GOP.

If you believe that secret ballots are essential to fair union elections: help the GOP. If you believe that Conservative talk radio provides a necessary balance to the Liberal spin of the Mainstream Media: help the GOP. If you don’t want the government to take money you have worked for and “redistribute” it to those who don’t or won’t work, you guessed it. Help the GOP. (If you believe Obama won’t tax you, I have a really great deal on a bridge in Brooklyn that I want to talk to you about. I believe Obama on taxes like I believe him when he says he supports the Second Amendment. Here’s what the NRA says.)

The Democrat plan is to make the American Middle Class dependent on government handouts in the same way that past Democrat social programs have turned people in America’s lowest economic classes into serfs who are dependent on the government dole.

Once a Socialist administration conditions all our working citizens to pay tremendous taxes for government handouts, the game is over. You will create value for the economy. The government will take your money. They will rake a little off the top for the bureaucrats; rake a little more off the top for “deserving” non-profits, like ACORN; rake a little off the top for “worthwhile” propaganda outlets, like PBS and NPR; rake more off the top to pay their army of people already dependent on the public dole; and eventually, the beneficent, all-powerful Socialist Utopian State will give you back a fraction of your money in the form of “benefits.”

Their model is Europe, which has much higher unemployment than this country, and which has a system of economic stratification that is much different than the American system. Our traditional system allows people with talent and drive to be upwardly mobile. Unless you are a rock star, your chances of going “from rags to riches” in Europe are slim. Did you ever wonder why, in Europe’s ”sophisticated,” egalitarian Socialist system, rich people still go to Monte Carlo and Baden Baden? Rich people still drive their Mercedes and their BMW’s, while the lower classes, “The Great Unwashed” take public transportation and eat relatively inexpensive bowls of soup in railroad stations.

Do you wonder why the Germans, who have socialized medicine, go to private clinics at night and pay to get health care? As I documented in an earlier post under the Category “Foreign Gun Laws,” the British Olympic Pistol Team trains in Switzerland. Why? British gun ”regulations” prohibit handguns on British soil. Watch the Olympic Games in England, where they will likely bring pistols to shooting events in armored cars. That’s “reasonable” gun control.

If you don’t want your country transformed into a European-style Socialist playground for the wealthy and a social and economic prison for the Middle Class, help the GOP! And remember, the British Olympic Pistol Team trains in Switzerland.

“Big Brother” wants to love you. Don’t give him the chance. Work for a GOP victory!

(Note to Tiffany re: comment on “More McCain yard signs down.” (Category: “Elections.”) I appreciate your empathy on the yard sign thefts. I am less comfortable with your description of John McCain as a “disgusting old man.” First, a general comment of my own about yard sign theft and other political crimes…

Oops! Lost another Bob Schaffer sign Sunday night. Schaffer is running against Boulder, Colorado Liberal Mark Udall. That makes three stolen Schaffer signs! I have two extras in the garage. I’ll head down to Schaffer’s Headquarters and pick up a few more. Can’t have too many Schaffer signs. (Saw a fox by the sign location last night. Maybe he or she took it.)

I believe that this Democrat yard sign theft of epidemic proportions is merely a symptom of a larger problem within the Party. David Horowitz, a former Communist and leader of the Anti-Vietnam War Movement, said of the Left, ”If you believe in a future that will redeem mankind, what lie will you not tell, what crime will you not commit to make the future happen?” This “Progressive” ideological hubris, this absolute certainly of moral superiority, this crusader mentality, this attempt to live out and exploit what Horowitz has called “the romance of the underdog,” are factors that I believe drive people of the Left to steal yard signs and attempt to steal elections. (Horowitz, David, Left Illusions, Spence Publishing Company, Dallas, TX, 2003, pages 356-360, 366.) Back to McCain and the Presidential Race!

John McCain was continually tortured for a year and a half in North Vietnam, because he would not accept an early release from his captors, while his fellow POWs remained in Communist hands. That makes him an American Hero by any standards. John McCain sounded the alarm on the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Crisis in 2005, while the Democrat Party defended the bad lending practices that ultimately drove both organizations into the ground.

I don’t agree with McCain on every policy, but his experience and fortitude in the struggle against Islamofascist Terror and his relatively strong support of the Second Amendment make him my choice. It is foolish for us to allow transient economic problems to obscure the fact that we are in a struggle to the death with a violent terrorist element that wishes and plans for our destruction. (I’m not talking about the Left-Wing of the Democrat Party.)

Sarah Palin is the Governor of Alaska. She has more executive experience than the whole Obama/Biden ticket. She cut government expenses in Alaska. I think she believes “jobs” is a four-letter word. Obama’s choice for VP seems to think that ”jobs” has only three letters. Unlike some of the terms you used in your comment, Tiffany, ”jobs” is a four letter word with a good connotation.

Barack H. Obama is the junior senator from Illinois. He is the least experienced presidential candidate for at least a generation. He comes out of what is arguably the most corrupt Democrat political machine in the country. He has blatantly misrepresented his position on the Second Amendment and tried to suppress the First Amendment rights of people who disagree with him. He wants to end the use of secret ballots in union elections. Quite frankly, his anti-democratic tendencies scare me.

Obama has continually associated with Communists, including: Frank Davis in Hawaii. and William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn in Chicago. He has continuously been involved with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now(ACORN), which is at least in part responsible for the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Crisis, and which has a long-time record of voter fraud.

Obama, with only four years in the Senate, has taken more money from Fannie and Freddie than long-time Senator Ted Kennedy. Only Senator Dodd got more contributions for his support of Fan and Fred’s failed practices than your candidate, Tiffany.

Obama wants to raise taxes for everybody who pays taxes, not just the wealthy. If he gets elected and repeals the Bush tax cuts, everybody’s taxes go up. If he taxes corporations at a higher rate, the companies will simply raise their prices, passing on the expense to people who use their goods and services. You and me! Obama wants to increase taxes on retirement accounts (capital gains tax.) If you plan to save any money and to retire some day, Obama plans to tax you!

Another bad thing that will happen, if Senator Obama is elected President, is that some companies will move overseas to other countries where wages and taxes are lower. That will mean fewer jobs in the United States. Obama’s tax plans would be like pouring gasoline on a house fire.

Obama wants to give drivers’ licenses to illegal aliens. Why? I don’t know. Wait! Here’s an idea! The issuance of licenses to illegals increases opportunities for voter fraud. ACORN comes to mind again.

Finally, I believe Obama is wrong on the War on Terror. In 1975, when the American Left forced the abandonment of Southeast Asia to the Communists, about two and a half million people were murdered. The North Vietnamese Army, the Khmer Rouge, the Pathet Lao, and the Red Chinese and Soviets who supported them didn’t follow us home. If we abandon the Middle East to radical terrorists, who have already killed about 3,000 U.S. Citizens in attacks on New York and Washington, D.C., not only will untold thousands more die outside this country; we will face the prospect of chemical and nuclear attacks in our own cities.

In an incident that received little attention in the Mainstream Media, because it didn’t fit the party-line “narrative” of the Left in the War on Terror, Islamofascist operatives tried to launch a chemical attack on Amman, Jordan. The attack, which could have killed thousands, was thwarted. Some of the would-be perpetrators confessed to being trained and supervised by Abu Mus’ab al-Zarqawi, an al Qaida terrorist with ties to Iraq.

Former Iraqi Air Force General Georges Sada said he believes that the chemicals for the weapons in the planned bombing were sent from Saddam Hussein in Iraq to Syria, during the months before the U.S.-led invasion in 2003. General Sada is the author of the book, Saddam’s Secrets, published by Thomas Nelson, 2006.

Junior Senator Obama opposed and opposes the War on Terror. I believe he is incredibly naive, which is not surprising, given his complete lack of foreign policy experience. As Hillary Rodham Clinton astutely said, the Oval Office is not a place where we can afford to train on the job.

Tiffany, I don’t have time to comment in detail on your “use” of the English Language, but please lose the profanity and proofread your comments, before you send them. Everyone makes errors, but punctuation and capitalization are our friends. We shouldn’t abuse them.
