Recognizing Terrorists
October 8, 2009 | Leave a Comment
To me, the most troubling aspect of the home-grown Colorado video, Recognizing the 8 signs of Terrorism, narrated by John Elway and Kim Christiansen, is what the video doesn’t say. It’s useful to alert citizens to suspicious behaviors regard high-value terrorist targets. People photographing or taking detailed notes regarding dams or power stations could raise [...]

Is S. 2099 a deliberate red herring?
September 21, 2009 | Leave a Comment
S. 2099 is harder to kill than a vampire with a metal breastplate and a tanker truck full of spf 10,000 sunblock. The NRA and GOA have put out information that this thing is a relic of the 2000 Federal Legislative Session, yet it still lives on the Internet! (See my post dated 06-07-09, “All together [...]

Krystallnacht in Denver
August 27, 2009 | 2 Comments
Peter Boyles on 630 KHOW was on target yesterday in his radio commentary concerning Maurice Schwenkler. This individual allegedly committed criminal mischief in breaking out the windows of a Democrat Headquarters, which reportedly displayed pictures of Obama and promoted health care “reform.” I believe that Boyles was also correct in excoriating Denver Post columnist Mark Litwin for his [...]

“Convenient” Shootings boost Left-wing Agenda
June 12, 2009 | 1 Comment
Those on the Left are going ballistic over the Holocaust Museum Shooting. They hoot that this tragic incident validates the Homeland Security Report’s portrayal of veterans as potential domestic terrorists. ”Progressive” pundits shout that this murder should be the basis for more restrictive gun laws. Before we all go off half-cocked, let us consider a few basic facts.
Washington D.C., [...]

All together now! A 2009 version of S. 2099 is a hoax!
June 7, 2009 | 1 Comment
There was a bill in 2000 with the number of S. 2099 that would have registered and taxed handguns. The bill did not pass in 2000. There is no bill so far this year with the number 2099 that deals with handgun registration.
I would not normally bother with this, but today at a gun show, [...]

As we were saying…

Apologies to all who haven’t heard from me for about three weeks. The hosting server went down. Hopefully you haven’t given up on checking this blog on a regular basis with regard to Second Amendment information.
A quick wrap up of ongoing and recent events:
HR 45 is still a threat to gun owners’ rights. This bill [...]

Pelosi says, “Registration!” Can you say, “HR 45?”
April 10, 2009 | 1 Comment
Once again, three all too “convenient” spree shooting incidents have given the Left a bully pulpit to push gun control just before the anniversary of Columbine and the yearly NRA Convention. I wonder how these shootings ”seem to happen” at just the right time for Liberals? Kind of reminds you of the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mack Meltdown, [...]

New York Spree Killing Not Unexpected
April 3, 2009 | 1 Comment
The shooting of 13 people at the immigration help center in New York State adds fuel to the Liberal clamor for more gun control. We will have shootings as long as the Left pushes restrictive gun laws, limits concealed carry, mandates “gun free criminal-safe free fire zones,” and publishes the names and life stories of [...]

Look for more shootings after church killing and more calls for gun control
March 12, 2009 | Leave a Comment
You have seen the news stories about the church killing and the family murder rampage by the man in Alabama. This week, there was a spree killing in Germany. Those on the Left and others who believe that disarmed, helpless people are safer than armed people will no doubt again raise their voices and demand that we surrender our [...]

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mack Train Wreck! Alinsky, ACORN, Obama, Cloward and Piven connection?
October 2, 2008 | 1 Comment
The Oz Express rear-ended the Wonderland Limited en route to Camelot, as the Democrat-controlled Senate porked up the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Bailout. We have reports of knights, dragons, Munchkins, cowardly lions, white rabbits, mad hatters, and smiling Cheshire cats roaming the countryside. Rumors of Alinsky, ACORN, Ayers, and Obama have surfaced in connection [...]
