CO HB 1180 Passes Senate!

Colorado: HB 1180, which allows a concealed carry permit holder to use his or her permit in lieu of a background check to buy a gun has passed third reading in the State Senate! Pigs were seen preparing for takeoff at Denver International Airport in spite of the snow. Please call your state senator and representative to ask for support of this bill without additional amendments.
The bill will now go to the House. If the House does not concur with the Senate version, which it probably won’t, the bill will go to a conference committee to try to work out the differences. This could be a dangerous situation, since the committee may try to go beyond the scope of the original bill and add dangerous amendments.
