Mainstream Media protect Obama from anti-gun record, ACORN involvement, and his campaign’s attacks on First Amendment

The Mainstream Media(MSM), ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, NPR, Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, The LA Times, The Denver Post, The Washington Post, etc., continue to coddle Obama and attack the GOP. They take the Obama Campaign at its word and fail to follow up on its most blatant misrepresentations. Let me know if you have heard a peep out of the MSM about the following issues.

Obama’s real record on gun control? Just this week, BHO garnered the endorsement of the anti-gun Brady Campaign. Oh yeah. They are “opponents of gun violence.” This, while Obama runs ads saying that he supports the Second Amendment. Here’s what the NRA says about his “support.”

Obama and ACORN? News organizations that are turning Alaska upside down. rock by rock, can’t seem to find a connection between the community organizing Junior Senator from Chicago and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Obama’s attacks on the First Amendment rights of citizens who disagree with him? Click here for Obama campaign’s attacks on the NRA and radio and TV stations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Click here for the “truth squad” in Missouri that was decried by the Governor of that state for “police state tactics.”

If you are getting all your information from the MSM, man or woman, you are not getting the whole story on Barack Obama or on the struggle between republican democracy and socialism that is dividing our country. If you care about the First and Second Amendments and the rest of the Constitution, I would encourage you to expand your sources beyond the evening news and the news stands. Talk radio, Fox News, and websites like Newsmax, Free Republic, Front Page Magazine, and the Volokh Conspiracy are vitally necessary to a balanced perspective. The Democrats are threatening to destroy this tenuous balance with the “Fairness Doctrine,” and other restrictions on our Constitutionally recognized rights to freedom of speech and self-defense. (Banning secret ballots in union elections comes to mind.)

Inform yourself or get used to living in a Brave New World where “War is Peace,” “Freedom is Slavery,” “Some animals are more equal than others,” and some people will still believe that “It Can’t Happen Here.” If you’re not familiar with those titles and quotations, wake up! It could happen here. Imagine huge “volunteer” youth organizations “trained” by Left-wing Democrat Community Organizers. The Young Pioneers or the Red Guards come to mind.
