Obama decries free speech-all you need to know

Barack H. Obama just frightened me again. I was working on another post, when I came across this quote from Newsmax. The last sentence chills me to the bone and makes me believe that Obama’s interview with Matt Bai of the New York Times Magazine will never see the light of day in the Mainstream Media. If this statement isn’t a deal breaker for millions of Americans, we deserve to live in the Democratic Peoples’ Republic of North America.
Obama’s quote: “If voters are…polarized and if they’re seeing two different realities, a Sean Hannity reality and a Keith Olbermann reality, then we’re not going to be able to get done the work we need to get done.” Sorry! The marketplace of ideas is closed by government decree. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez, or Pol Pot couldn’t have said it better, or made their collective view of free speech any more clear. Is it possible that this is a hoax, or does Obama really believe that bitter, clingy, desperately religious Americans are stupid enough to vote for him, when he makes statements like this?
Will the radical wing of the party of superdelegates, college speech codes, “The Fairness Doctrine,” no secret ballots in union elections, and “truth squads,” finally put an end to the American tradition of free speech? Will the radical wing of the party that seeks to silence the voices of NRA members in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Missouri succeed in establishing a dictatorship of the Proletariat?
Vote Republican or lose your First and Second Amendment rights.

First, you need to check Newsmax as much as you are willing to check the New York Times. There are some serious fact checking weaknesses with Newsmax. You need investigate the statements because I did with both Newsmax and NYT.
Second,it wasn’t liberals that screamed government intervention to save the banking system.
Third, the very definition of “Liberal” is from the Latin meaning FREE or freedom. Censorship won’t come from Obama. If it comes it will come from the “Christian” right who really hang their hat on the Old Testament which is more like Jewish Law than Philosophy of Christ. They are the ones that have the my way or the highway mentality. You can’t have that mentality and be tolerant of a forum of different ideas.
Fourth, all you have to fear is fear itself. Americans are most pathetic when we are afraid of the unknown. Be an American, pay your taxes,and work to fix the problems instead of being afraid of someone who is willing to try.
