Yesterday afternoon, I sat in on the news conference in Colorado Springs, when Wayne La Pierre, President of the National Rifle Association, endorsed John McCain for President of the United States.  Barack Hussein Obama, the Junior Senator from the Democrat Political Machine in Chicago, Illinois, has a terrible record regarding his so-called support for the Second Amendment.

Obama, who referred to gun owners as bitter, and clinging to guns and religion, also said that we fear people who are not like us.  Gun owners have numerous reasons to fear Barack Obama, who has said that he favored gun owner licensing, gun registration, and a ban on handguns, disliked concealed carry laws, and wanted a ban on semi-automatic weapons.  BHO supports the ineffective, oppressive gun laws of Chicago and Washington, D.C.  For the full scope of his apparent hatred of our fundamental right to self-defense against crime and tyranny, go to the NRA website.  (See my posts on Chicago and D.C. under the Category: Gun Law Failures.)

Although it has gotten virtually no coverage in the Mainstream Media, which seems to be in the tank for the Democrat Candidate, Barack Hussein Obama has tried to suppress NRA advertising in Missouri and Pennsylvania by threatening the FCC licenses of radio and TV stations that run the ads.  To the credit of those stations, not one has turned down the advertising after the NRA presented the station managers with documentation proving the NRA’s claims about Obama’s record on guns.  (NRA News Conference, Colorado Springs.)

This distortion of his record and attempts to stifle the truth would seem to be a preview of an Obama Administration: draconian anti-gun laws and restriction of any form of free speech that disagrees with the Obama party line.

If you own a gun and/or care about free speech, please call your county or state GOP headquarters and volunteer.  Vote a straight Republican Ticket.  If Obama gets in, I am afraid there may never be another free election in this country.

Obama’s attacks on free speech need to be exposed.
