More McCain yard signs down. Obama and backers apparently dislike First and Second Amendments

Comments continue to come in regarding my recent post on vandalism directed against Republican yard signs. Two people in the South Denver Metro Area said to my wife and me on Saturday that their McCain yard signs had been slashed. Yesterday, I picked up a yard sign for a GOP state senate candidate that had been tossed into the street, along with a non-political Boy Scout sign that was apparently collateral damage associated with Left-wing, Nazi-like tactics.
More importantly, the Obama campaign has shown its true intolerance for diverse opinion and free speech by threatening to sue radio and TV stations in Pennsylvania that run NRA ads exposing his dismal record regarding the fundamental, individual right of American citizens to self-defense against crime and tyranny. The Messianic candidate of post-partisan “Unity” has also directed his followers to contact the stations to demand that the free speech rights of NRA members be suppressed.
According to the story as reported by Newsmax, a letter from Obama’s general counsel wrote that “…independent political organizations do not have a right to command the use of broadcast facilities…” Per the much touted “defenders of the common citizen,” only “federal candidates” have such rights. Somebody apparently has not been reading the Constitution.
The Obama Campaign letter calls the NRA ads “false, misleading, or deceptive.” The letter goes on to quote the left-wing Washington Post and the usually reliable FactCheck.org about the supposed inaccuracy of the ads. Unfortunately for Barack “Call me if you need me” Obama, Dave Kopel deconstructed the FactCheck entry by pointing out that the NRA talking points accurately reflect Obama’s public pronouncements and voting record. The NRA legal team stands behind the veracity of their allegations.
Obama claims to support the Second Amendment, but he has opposed concealed carry, supported the “assault weapons” ban, endorsed a handgun ban, supported the Washington D.C., gun ban, and voted to ban virtually almost all rifle ammunition, in addition to other “support.” “Freedom is Slavery. War is Peace. Big Brother is watching you.”
Obama’s party is the party of elite “Super Delegates.” He supports destroying the right of workers to vote by secret ballot in union elections. Obama advocates the “Fairness Doctrine” that would effectively destroy conservative talk radio, while leaving intact the Mainstream Liberal Media’s ability to present their version of the “News.” How long will it be before Obama and friends try to limit free speech on the Net? “Freedom is Slavery. War is Peace. Big Brother is watching you.” George Orwell could have been writing about Barack Hussein Obama.
If the Obama Campaign’s vandalism and open assault on the foundations of the Bill of Rights don’t outrage and terrify you, you are not only not paying attention, you are probably comatose. If Americans don’t wake up, we will have no political voice or legal ability to defend ourselves.
Vote Republican or kiss the First and Second Amendments goodbye.

Why is not word of the Obama campaign threatening to sue the TV stations over ads coming out more?
1. Obama challenges the 2nd Amendment … The Right To Bear Arms.
2. Obama challenges the 1st Amendment … The right of Free Speech.
Obama pressures all media who accepts NRA advertising.
3. Obama wants a Civil National Security Force … with the same budget as the Pentagon.
So, Obama does not want any opposition, so he stops Freedom of Speech.
Then, to make any opposition defenseless, he wants to take away our right to bear arms.
Next, he wants a Civil National Security force to put down any insurrection.
Sounds like the stepping stones to a leftist dictator taking over this country.
Last night the Seattle local news featured a story about a man who had McCain yard signs smewared with feces, along with his house, windows, and yard. He replaced the signs. It happened again. He has now installed sensors to turn on lights – and posted a sign to tell the pro-Obama vandals that he will not be bullied into supporting an inferior candidate – particularly not with such undemocratic and criminal misconduct. Amen!
Third McCain sign in my yard stolen in Northern Callifornia. Welcome to the People’s Republic of California. Feel free to state any opinion that you want as long as it’s pro-Obama and anti-McCain. Obey. The next sign that goes up with be an NRA sign with cement to hold it in place. I will not be bullied into supporting an inferior candidate.
That’s ashame that all of your McCain signs are getting stolen.. That’s not too cool. Although I am high supportive of Obama. McCain is nothing special, I don’t know what all of you see in him, He’s an disgusting, old man whom doesn’t even focus on discussing real issues at the debates, just is very, very defensive against Obama. If he were to die in office, and Sarah Palin would become president? I would move out of the country, no joke. She would fuck shit up. Obama is in the lead, and I am very convinced Obama will be the next president. For the change we need!
It doesn’t matter what candidate we support, we should have the right to voice our opinion without threats and intimidation. In our neighborhood, we’ve had all our McCain/Palin signs stolen over the weekend. But, it didn’t stop there. Several neighbors had windows smashed, and houses egged, cars scratched to remove bumper stickers (mine was one of them) etc.. This behavior is disgusting. And we live in a very quiet, suburban neighborhood. One of my neighbors has decided to put razorblades all along the sides of his McCain/Palin yard signs to stop whoever is stealing them. So, if the perp wants to take them, he’s going to end up with some potentially serious injuries.
Spent the weekend in Bloomington, IN. My car, with a McCain bumper
sticker, was egged in a hotel parking lot! Drove home to southern Indiana and was honked at and someone actually stuck his Obama yardsign out the window at me. Wow! JUST VOTE…don’t try to intimidate!
