NRA-ILA “Outs” Trojan Horse AHSA

You remember the old line from Homer about the Trojan Horse, “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts,” and the more modern rejoinder, “Beware of gifts bearing Greeks.” The NRA once again exposes the anti-gun pedigree of the so-called gun rights group, The American Hunters and Shooters Association. Beware of any group or person that espouses the “legitimate sporting purpose” line with regard to the possession and use of firearms. They will tell you, “We/I support some guns for hunting, but nobody needs an ‘assault rifle’ or a handgun, or a magazine that holds over six rounds.” What every hunter needs to remember is that his or her extremely accurate, expensive hunting weapon with the billion-power scope is a “sniper rifle” to the anti-gun crowd. “The friend of the tyrant is merely his (or her) last victim.”
