Get Politically Active or the U.N. Will Get Your Guns
April 30, 2008 | Leave a Comment
If the next President’s protential Supreme Court nominations and 2011 political redistricting have not moved you to actively support electable pro-gun rights candidates this year, the text of John Bolton’s Imprimis speech should electrify you into action. John Bolton is a former U.S. Representative at the United Nations. Imprimis is a monthly publication [...]

If gun control worked, Mexico would be Paradise
April 29, 2008 | 1 Comment
According to an AP story in the Denver Post, 13 were killed and 9 wounded in a Tijuana running gun fight over the weekend. How can that be? Mexico has gun laws of which American liberals only dream. South of the border, Mexicans enjoy gun registration, restrictive licensing, restrictions on permissible calibers [...]

April 28, 2008 | Leave a Comment
State Senator Ken Gordon, long-time proponent of private gun sale bans and “safe storage” laws, is cosponsoring Senate Bill 198. Chicago has some of the most draconian gun control laws in the country; therefore, this orgy of gang violence indicates that the homies [...]

Prison murders highlight gun control futility
April 23, 2008 | 1 Comment
The Rocky Mountain News just printed a story about another prison murder. It seems convicted burglar David Bueno stabbed kidnap-murderer Jeffrey Heird 29 times and savagely beat him for “being a snitch.”

April 22, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Dateline: today. A usually reliable source has reported that Democrat Leadership in the Colorado Legislature is going to run a bill affecting concealed carry. This reportedly grew out of a controversy about security at the State Capitol. The extent of the bill’s reach is not known at this time.
I am hopeful the [...]

Zero Tolerance-PC run amuck
April 22, 2008 | Leave a Comment
A generally ignored area in the debate on the role of firearms in America is the almost universal left wing policy of “Zero Tolerance” of guns or any representation of guns in the nation’s grade schools and high schools. The hard left, which I believe to be in firm control of the public educational [...]
